In place of a bulk mailing for the 2019-20 school year, West York Area School District families will receive back-to-school email messages only. The first email, sent July 26, contained early "save-the-date" specifics and important information and forms. The email also stated that on Aug. 5 the District Sapphire Parent Portal would include all homeroom and bus assignments and that class schedules for high school students were slated to be posted on the portal on Aug. 13.
A second email will be sent on Wednesday, Aug. 21, and will ask families to again visit the Sapphire Parent Portal for traditional first-day information. All district families must have an active Sapphire account. Accounts can be created at http://bit.ly/WYPortal.
Anyone needing access to a computer and/or printer may visit any district building for assistance on Mondays through Thursdays from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
