Conestoga Valley School District has begun mailing out its census to all district residents. To make this process easier for the community, this year's census can be completed online.
To fill out the form online, readers may visit http://www.schoolcensus.com, select Conestoga Valley School District and select from three options: "No Changes," "Changes" or "New Information." Residents will then need to enter the residence number from the top left box on the form they receive in the mail. Once they have entered any changes or added new information, they can submit the form.
Residents can also mail census forms to Conestoga Valley School District, 2110 Horseshoe Road, Lancaster, PA 17601 or email census@conestogavalley.org with their residence number, name, address and phone number.
Under the state School Code, Conestoga Valley is required to collect a careful, correct and accurate census of all households, both those with children and those without children, in the district. Census data provides information necessary for school officials to fulfill their obligations with regard to compulsory attendance regulations, as well as effectively planning for education services, monitoring regional development, and calculating future enrollment trends.
