Dauphin County Library System will provide streaming access to the 80-minute documentary "Black Men in White Coats." In addition, a panel discussion with Penn State College of Medicine and Penn State Health to facilitate a discussion about racial disparities in the medical field will be held.
The film will be available to stream on Friday, Feb. 19, through Sunday, Feb. 21. The panel discussion will be hosted virtually on Monday, Feb. 22, at 6 p.m. via Zoom. The panel includes doctors from Penn State Health and medical students from Penn State College of Medicine.
The "Black Men in White Coats" screening and panel discussion is free and intended for teens age 16 and older and adults. Registration is required. Registrants will be sent further instructions, a link to access the documentary, and a Zoom link and password to join the film discussion.
