DreamWrights To Present Drama

Feb 14, 2020 -

DreamWrights Center for Community Arts, 100 Carlisle Ave., York, will present "The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe." The show will run on Fridays to Sundays, Feb. 14 to 16 and 21 to 23. Friday shows will be at 7 p.m., Saturday performances have been set for 3 and 7 p.m., and Sunday shows will take place at 3 p.m.

The play is based on the well-known children's book of the same name. Audience members will be transported to the frozen world of Narnia, full of 1,000 icicles handmade from bubble wrap.

Guest directed by Amanda Nowell, this double-cast production will be the first on DreamWrights' mainstage in 2020.

The show is part of DreamWrights' 2020 season, which features the theme "Finding Common Ground." Knowing that the story holds a special place in many people's hearts, Nowell said she hopes they walk away reminiscing about this story.

Tickets will be available for a discount in advance and for full price at the door. Tickets can be purchased without additional fees at http://www.DreamWrights.org.
