Hosanna! A Fellowship of Christians, 29 Green Acre Road, Lititz, will host three services on Easter weekend to celebrate life and hope in Christ. The services are open to people of any faith or no faith. Hosanna is known for its creative integration of contemplative spiritual practices and contemporary worship.
Instead of a traditional Good Friday service, the congregation will offer community members opportunities to meditate, lament, pray, or give thanks at a series of prayer stations in its auditorium. Visitors may stop by anytime from noon to 8 p.m. on Friday, April 2.
Activities on Easter Sunday, April 4, will begin with a short sunrise service that will include dramatic monologues, Scripture, and worship. Weather permitting, the service will be held outdoors, with a start time of 6:30 a.m.
Easter Sunday worship will continue with a storytelling worship service at 9:30 a.m. A special children's lesson will be offered at the same time. This service will be available via livestream and later via recorded video for those unable to attend.
