Lower Dauphin High School senior Natasha Ebersole was recently named the Hummelstown Women's Club's Young Woman of the Month for September. Lower Dauphin High School senior Nidhi Singh is the Hummelstown Rotary Club's Student of the Month for September.
Natasha is the daughter of Tina and Doyle Ebersole. She is a four-year member of the concert band, jazz band and marching band, where she is also a two-year trumpet section leader. She is also a four-year member of the chorus and a three-year member of the orchestra. She is a four-year member and leader in the BIG group and a two-year member and leader in the Science National Honor Society. Natasha is also a two-year member of the National Honor Society, National English Honor Society and Latin Honor Society.
In the community, she participates in Lower Dauphin Communities That Care's Study Buddies program and volunteered at the Hershey Medical Center in the Patient Experience Department and one year in the Emergency Department. She also attended the Rotary Youth Leadership Awards camp at Messiah College.
She plans to attend Penn State University or Lebanon Valley College to major in biology or public health administration.
Nidhi is the daughter of Anchana and Mahendra Singh. She is a four-year member of the orchestra. She has also been a member of the Latin Honor Society for three years; the National English Honor Society, Science National Honor Society and History Honor Society for two years; and the National Honor Society for one year. She is a two-year member of the Students Against Destructive Decisions group. Nidhi also participated in Youth and Government and is co-president of the judicial branch. She has also taken some online coursework.
She hopes to attend the University of North Carolina or the University of Pennsylvania to major in statistics and finance.
