Elizabethtown Community Housing and Outreach Services (ECHOS) and PennState Health are partnering for a Passport to Safety workshop. It will take place on Thursday, Aug. 1, from 1 to 2:30 p.m. at Community Place on Washington, 61 E. Washington St., Elizabethtown.
The focus of the workshop is to educate children ages 5 to 15, who must be accompanied by an adult, on the importance of safety skills. Topics will include sports, bicycle, water, home and pedestrian safety. Interactive games and face painting will also be included. Individuals who complete their "passport" will be entered into a drawing for Subway and MoviE-Town gift cards.
