The Donegal School District, in partnership with the United Way of Lancaster County, is introducing Plant the Seed of Learning. Through the initiative, three events for children from birth to age 2 and their parents or guardians will be held on select Thursdays from 6 to 7 p.m. in the LGI room at Donegal Primary School, 1055 Koser Road, Mount Joy. Each free family session will provide caregivers with practical ideas to enhance the development of their children while promoting socialization among families.
The sessions will be as follows: Making Music With Your Child, Oct. 24; Your Baby Can Talk, Feb. 20, 2020, with Feb. 27 serving as the weather make-up date; and Math All Around Us, May 21.
