The Thimble and Thread Chapter of the Embroiderers' Guild of America meets on the second Tuesday of each month from 7 to 9 p.m. at Faith United Church of Christ, 509 Pacific Ave., York. The group's next meeting will be held on Dec. 10.
The group is for individuals who enjoy needlework, including needlepoint, crewel and cross stitch. Participants gather once a month to stitch or to learn new variations of needle art. Stitchers of any skill level are welcome. Visitors are invited to bring a project to work on.
