Epilepsy Foundation Eastern Pennsylvania has planned three conferences.

A virtual Women & Epilepsy Conference will take place on Saturday, April 17, from 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. This program is offered biennially in the spring to focus on the unique issues and special concerns related to women who have epilepsy. It is free and open to women who have epilepsy, as well as their parents, spouses, caretakers, or loved ones.

Topics and speakers will include "Women & Hormones" presented by Dr. Allyson Pickard, Jefferson University Hospitals; "Planning Pregnancy" presented by Dr. Julie Tsao, Temple University Hospital; "Bone Health, Nutrition, and Vitamins" presented by Bethany Thomas, CRNP, Penn Medicine; and "Managing Stress During the Pandemic," presented by Jaime Spinell Zuckerman, Doctor of Psychology, private practice.

Epilepsy Foundation Eastern Pennsylvania will hold its first-ever Pediatric Epilepsy Conference as a webinar on Thursday, May 13, from 6 to 8 p.m. Topics and speakers are specialized around navigating a pediatric epilepsy diagnosis while creating a network of education and support.

An Adult Epilepsy Conference will be held as a webinar on Tuesday, May 25, from 6 to 8 p.m. This conference will be focused on topics, trends, challenges, and updates related to adults living with epilepsy.
