The wedding of Anne Virginia Mary Hayward and Darian Miles Erb took place on Dec. 12, 2020, at Westminster Presbyterian Church of Lancaster. Dr. John Light officiated at the 1 p.m. ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Robert B. Hayward Jr. of Lancaster. She graduated from Lancaster County Christian School (LCCS) and graduated from Lancaster Bible College in 2017. She is employed by Barnes & Noble and LCCS in Lancaster as well as Veritas Academy in Leola.
The groom is the son of David M. Erb of Manheim and Karen J. Erb of Lancaster. He graduated from Hempfield High School and from Northland College in 2017. He is employed by TE Connectivity in Landisville.
The matron of honor was Joy Hayward Hermann, sister of the bride. The bridesmaids were Michelle Collier; Heidi Hayward, sister-in-law of the bride; and Allie Hayward, sister-in-law of the bride. The flower girl was Katherine Hayward, niece of the bride.
The best man was Matthew Steimling, and the groomsman was Kevin Springer. The ushers were Derek Bitner, brother of the groom, and Andrew Hayward, John Hayward, James Hayward, and Scott Hermann, brothers-in-law of the groom. The ring bearer was Joel Hayward, nephew of the bride.
The bride was given in marriage by her father. The bride carried a traditional bouquet layered with white and blush roses, white lisianthus, pink spray roses, and touches of ruscus and eucalyptus greens, designed by Susan Mayer of Divine Florals.
Providing music for the ceremony were Frank Dodd, piano; Richard Amoroso, cello; and Hope Linton Davis, violin.
Due to COVID-19 restrictions announced close to the date of the wedding, the reception was changed from the original venue. The bride and groom were able to celebrate with family members and a few close friends.
The couple resides in Mountville.
