St. Anne's Retirement Community and the Advocates for People with Disabilities from Catholic parishes in Lancaster will host Caring for Caregivers on Saturday, April 27, from 10 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. The special day for men and women caregivers will take place at St. Anne's Retirement Community, 3952 Columbia Ave., Columbia.
The event will begin with a continental breakfast, followed by a group session with a guest speaker and special hand blessing. The day will also include time for relaxation, reflection, the sacrament of reconciliation, aromatherapy, fellowship, hair styling and cuts, manicures, chair massages, health services, and crafts. Music will be provided by The Women at the Well. The day will also include a catered lunch and door prizes.
