The Muscular Dystrophy Association (MDA) of Harrisburg will kick off the inaugural Maple Donuts Canister Drop and Custom Donut event on Saturday, April 27, at all Maple Donut locations. Proceeds will benefit children and adults with muscular dystrophy, ALS, and related muscle-debilitating diseases.
A portion of the proceeds from the custom chocolate/strawberry Lex doughnut will support MDA. Lex is a local young man with Duchene muscular dystrophy who attends MDA's annual summer camp. Funds raised by the event support MDA programs like summer camps.
