Event To Feature Model Trains

Hershey History Center, 40 Northeast Drive, Hershey, will host Trains at the Tracks, a model train show and family fun event, on Saturday and Sunday, July 9 and 10, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The event will feature interactive model trains, including a new O-gauge layout by the Lower Susquehanna Valley Modular Railroaders; food trucks; kids' crafts; and rides on a self-propelled railcar. In addition to viewing the model train layouts, attendees will be able to meet the railroaders who created them, including members of Capital PenNScalers NTRAK, Lebanon Valley Rail, and the Lower Susquehanna Valley Modular Railroaders.

Still Limber will present guitar and banjo picking folk music on Saturday at 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. The duo, consisting of Randy Heisley Cato and Craig Zumbrun, will also bring its dancing limberjacks.

On Saturday, the food trucks will be Nano Grill, Blazing Swine Barbeque, and Good Life Ice Cream and Treats. Food trucks on Sunday will be Smoking Ace's BBQ and Just a Little Chill - Ice Cream.

Separate admission fees have been set for adults and for children ages 4 to 12, and there is also a discounted family price. Children age 3 and younger will be admitted for free. Admission includes all exhibits at the Hershey History Center museum. The food trucks will be open to the public.
