Excentia Human Services has announced that Donegal Insurance Group and Apex Advertising have donated more than 200 care packages to Excentia Human Services staff who are working to support people in residential homes. Staff members from Donegal and Excentia delivered the care packages to direct support staff working in Excentia's homes across the county on April 3. Deliveries were completed using social distancing and other precautions to ensure the safety of everyone.
Along with Excentia Human Services, both Donegal Insurance Group and Apex Advertising are considered essential life-sustaining businesses and have continued to operate with modifications during the COVID-19 outbreak. The care packages, produced and assembled by Apex, consist of a miniature goodie bag filled with hand sanitizer, a small first aid kit, a phone sleeve, healthy snacks, a gift card, and a handwritten thank-you note. Apex also donated a portion of the gift cards.
Vicki Bricker, director of intellectual and developmental disabilities at Lancaster County Behavioral Health/Developmental Services, thanked donors on behalf of Excentia Human Services staff.
