The Hummelstown Area Historical Society has created an exhibit about local churches titled "Faith, Hope, and Charity." The exhibit is staged at the society's History House, 32 W. Main St., Hummelstown.
The exhibit's displays include the Rev. Curtis Weber's collection of church pictures, photographs of stained glass windows from six local churches staged by interns Kira Wertz and Olivia Sharrow, New Mexico Adobe Iglesias photographed by Jean Seibert, vintage and current photographs of area churches, and Bibles, prayer books, and hymnals from the society's collection.
Community members may visit the exhibit during normal business hours at the History House on Mondays from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. and Wednesdays from 3 to 7 p.m.
Special hours have been set during the two weeks prior to Easter. The exhibit will be open on Thursday, April 11, from 3 to 5 p.m.; Friday, April 12, from 3 to 5 p.m.; Saturday, April 13, from 2 to 4 p.m.; Palm Sunday, April 14, from 2 to 4 p.m.; Thursday, April 18, from 3 to 5 p.m.; Good Friday, April 19, from 3 to 5 p.m.; and Saturday, April 20, from 2 to 4 p.m.
