Eastern York Recreation Authority (EYRA) will offer several fall programs for adults in the community. All courses will be held at the Lower Windsor Township Building, 2425 Craley Road, Wrightsville. Registration is required as space is limited.
American Red Cross Adult CPR/AED classes are scheduled for Saturday, Sept. 18, and Wednesday, Nov. 10. Participants will have the option of adding first aid and pediatric CPR training components to their certification. The entire September class will be conducted in a classroom setting; the November class will be a blended class with a portion partially completed online prior to the classroom instruction.
EYRA will also host two Point Blank Defense Courses. "Basic Handgun Safety" will be held on Friday, Oct. 1, for registrants at least 18 years of age. "Attack: Prevent Being Victimized" is scheduled for Friday, Nov. 12; attendees must be at least 16 years old.
