Eastern York Recreation Authority (EYRA) will offer three bus trips to the community. For each trip, the bus will depart from and return to Springettsbury Township Park, 1501 Mount Zion Road, York.
A Fall Foliage and Train Excursion will be held on Wednesday, Oct. 2. The bus will travel to the Poconos, where participants may enjoy the scenery, apple streusel and coffee, a family-style luncheon, a ride on the rails, entertainment by Eric Kearns, and more. The per-person cost for the trip includes transportation, entertainment, the luncheon, the rail excursion, meal taxes, and gratuities.
A trip to New York City will be offered on Saturday, Dec. 14. Participants will have free time to shop or visit museums, theaters, and other venues on their own. The cost includes transportation and a map.
A trip to visit the indoor water park at Kalahari Resort will be held on Friday, Dec. 27. The cost of the trip includes transportation and water park admission.
