A food drive will take place at Fairmount, 1100 Farm Crest Drive, Ephrata, through Monday, Nov. 23. The collected items will be donated to two local organizations, Northeastern Lancaster County Food Bank and Conestoga Valley Christian Community Services. Both organizations have experienced an increased need for their services due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Tables for food collection will be set up in the Wheat Ridge entryway on the west side of the Fairmount campus. Local community residents may drop off unexpired food items and paper goods just inside the first set of doors.
Donations most needed at this time are juices, syrups, canned fruits, soups, beans, meats, vegetables, cereals, condiments, peanut butter, jelly, and paper goods. Donors are asked to bring unexpired food items only.
Directions may be found on the web at http://www.fairmounthomes.org.
