The YMCA of York and York County will accept registrations for all fall group swim lesson programs beginning in September. Lessons are available for all age groups.
The progressive swim lessons teach swimming skills, stroke technique, and water safety while encouraging a lifelong love of the water.
Swim lessons take place at two YMCA locations: Southern Branch YMCA, 100 Constitution Ave., Shrewsbury, and York YMCA, 90 N. Newberry St., York. YMCA policies and procedures for the pool and swim lessons have been revised in order to comply with current CDC and state guidelines.
