Nov 22, 2019 - 5:00 pm

The Lancaster Science Factory, Thaddeus Stevens College of Technology, and Lancaster Creative Reuse will celebrate the Extraordinary Give together as they present a free Family STEM Fair on Friday, Nov. 22, from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Lancaster Science Factory, 454 New Holland Ave., Lancaster.

The event will feature hands-on activities for children age 3 through eighth grade. Activities will include building wooden holiday trees, casting metal figurines, T-shirt screen printing, virtual welding, meeting Baxter the robot, virtual reality experiences, jewelry making, and more.

Guests can enjoy these activities as well as more than 75 interactive exhibits of the Lancaster Science Factory. Donation stations will be set up, allowing attendees to make contributions to one or more of the three organizations sponsoring the Family STEM Fair. Guests ages 21 and over may enjoy complimentary beverages and appetizers. Donors will be able to make their own laser-cut greeting cards to take home as a thank-you gift.

Minors will not be admitted to the event without an adult, and children must be supervised at all times. Attendees are encouraged to register at http://www.eventbrite.com/e/extra-give-family-stem-fair-and-adult-happy-hour-tickets-74479396881.
