The No Longer Alone Family Support Group, which normally meets on the fourth Sunday of every month, will meet on Sunday, Nov. 17, because of the Thanksgiving holiday. The meeting will be held from 3 to 5 p.m. at Rossmere Mennonite Church, 741 Janet Ave., Lancaster.
Lena Horning Brown, a retired teacher and church worker, will present "A Journey of Prayer for Loved Ones With Mental Illness." A time of sharing in small groups will follow.
The monthly meetings provide a place for those who have a loved one living with mental illness to learn and share their experiences. The group is supported by Landis Communities. Beginning in January 2020, the group will meet at the same time but in a new location at Landis Homes.
