Farmers Market Will Reopen

May 01, 2019 - 5:00 pm

The Mill at Anselma's farmers market will reopen on Wednesday, May 1, with flowers, produce vendors, and more at 1730 Conestoga Road (Route 401), Chester Springs. The market will be open from 5 to 7 p.m. on Wednesdays from May to October.

Anselma is seeking vendors to participate. Vendors will be expected to be at the market at least twice a month and will be expected to pay a set fee per week. Food producers are welcome, but artisanal craftspeople and other vendors are welcome to join in as well. All vendors will be responsible for carrying appropriate certification for their food handling or craft. Anselma will place signage along the road, and parking is available on the maintained lawns at the historic site.

To learn more about the market or to express interest in being a vendor, readers may contact executive director Will Caverly at info@anselmamill.org or 610-827-1900. The Mill at Anselma is a nonprofit historic site based around a colonial-era grain mill.
