Kathleen Fitzpatrick of Middletown, a member of the women's basketball team at Lebanon Valley College (LVC) in Annville, earned All-Middle Atlantic Conference Rookie of the Year honors and Second Team All-MAC accolades. Fitzpatrick was the only first-year student-athlete to earn a spot on the All-Conference squad and was voted as the Rookie of the Year after an outstanding campaign where she led LVC and was fourth in the conference with 13.7 points per game.
Fitzpatrick, a guard, finished the season ranked 14th in field goal percentage at 37.6% and seventh in three-point field goals at 26.2%. She knocked down 33 three-pointers and was third in the conference with 1.7 per game. Fitzpatrick also made 23 of 27 attempts at the free throw line.
She pulled down 3.4 rebounds per game and 65 total, including six on the offensive glass. Fitzpatrick also provided the team with 34 assists and 24 steals in 19 games. She scored a season-high 26 points in a 63-46 victory over Eastern on Jan. 19 and scored in double figures 14 times, including four games with 20 or more points.
A graduate of Middletown Area High School, Fitzpatrick is pursuing a Bachelor of Science in business administration.
