Former Astronaut, Pilot To Speak

Scott Altman, a former NASA astronaut and veteran Navy pilot, will speak at the Paxtang Municipal Building, 3423 Derry St., Harrisburg, on Wednesday, July 10, at 6 p.m. as part of the Dauphin County Library System's "A Universe of Stories" Summer Reading Club.

Altman will recount his experiences training to be an astronaut, being a four-time crew member on the Space Shuttle, and working to update and repair the Hubble space telescope. He will also discuss his current work in the private sector. There will be ample time for questions following the presentation.
