Foundation Posts LEAP Sessions

Lancaster County Community Foundation has announced its 2021 LEAP Sessions. For several years, the foundation has partnered with local, regional, and national experts to present these opportunities for community members to learn new ways of caring for Lancaster County. The programs are free.

The first LEAP Session will be "Solidarity, Not Charity" with Jayme Wooten. It will take place virtually on Thursday, March 18, from noon to 1:30 p.m. Wooten will explore the history of mutual aid and participatory community engagement, as well as the work being done that centers self-determination and the role of philanthropy and nonprofit organizations in transformative change.

To make reservations, search for "LEAP Session: Solidarity, Not Charity: Participatory Community Building" at http://www.eventbrite.com.

More information on the 2021 LEAP Session season is available at http://www.lancfound.org/leapsessions/. All sessions are free and open to the public, and most will be held digitally.
