Applications are currently available for $1,000 scholarships to be awarded by the Solanco Education Foundation to seniors who will continue their education beyond high school.
A $1,000 Futures Scholarship will be awarded to a graduating Solanco senior whose parents did not attend a college, university, or trade school. A $1,000 Opportunity Scholarship will be available to a senior who may not meet typical scholarship requirements. In addition, the foundation awards a number of $1,000 scholarships to college-bound seniors based on class standing, scholastic ability, involvement in school and community activities, and good character and leadership.
Applications for Solanco Education Foundation scholarships can be completed and submitted at https://app.mykaleidoscope.com. The deadline for application submission is Sunday, March 31.
