The Friends of the Tanger Arboretum will hold their annual dinner on Tuesday, April 2, at Four Seasons Golf Club, 949 Church St., Landisville.
The event will begin with a social hour from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m., during which time tickets will be sold for giveaway drawings. Cash only will be accepted for tickets.
President Jeff Hazlett will welcome guests at 6:30 p.m., followed by the invocation by Ken Hoak and dinner. The meal will be a buffet consisting of stuffed chicken breast, roast beef, mashed potatoes, gravy, baked corn, garden salad, coleslaw, fresh fruit, rolls and butter, assorted desserts, and coffee and iced tea. A vegetarian dish will be available upon request.
The Stepping Stone Award will be presented at 7:30 p.m. At 7:35 p.m., naturalist Lisa Sanchez will speak on "Spring Awakenings at Tanger Arboretum."
Following the giveaway drawings at 8:30 p.m., Hazlett will close the event.
Separate ticket costs have been set for members and for nonmembers. Those who wish to attend should preregister by Tuesday, March 26, by calling Cindy Madara at 717-392-4633, ext. 122. Reservations will be held upon receipt of payment.
