Fulton Theatre Sets Reopening

The Fulton Theatre, 12 N. Prince St., Lancaster, invites audiences to return to live performances beginning this summer with a concert series that will ease back into full audiences. It will also include an inaugural playwriting festival, "Stories of Diversity," during the weekend of Friday, July 16. The 2021-22 season, including a world premiere and Pulitzer Prize-winning and Tony Award-winning shows, will begin on Tuesday, Sept. 7, and continue through Sunday, Aug. 7, 2022.

Mainstage productions will include "Fun Home" on Thursday, Sept. 9, through Sunday, Oct. 24. Rodgers and Hammerstein's "Cinderella" will run from Thursday, Nov. 11, through Sunday, Jan. 2. "The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee" will be held on Thursday, Jan. 20, through Sunday, Feb. 6. "The Sound of Music" will run from Thursday, Feb. 24, through Sunday, March 20. "Man of La Mancha" will take the stage on Thursday, May 19, through Sunday, June 12. A production to be announced will be held on Thursday, June 30, to Sunday, Aug. 7.

The Ellen Arnold Groff Studio Series will feature Jacob Marley's "A Christmas Carol" from Thursday, Dec. 2, through Sunday, Dec. 26. The world premiere of "Changing Channels" will take place from Thursday, Feb. 3, to Sunday, Feb. 20. "Sweat" will take the stage from Thursday, March 31, to Saturday, April 16. "Five Guys Named Moe" will be held from Thursday, June 2, through Sunday, June 26.

The Eichmann Family Series will include "Snow White" on Saturdays, Nov. 20 through Dec. 18; "Sherlock Holmes & the Mystery of the Crown Jewel" on Saturdays, March 12 to 26; "The Little Mermaid" on Saturdays, April 16 to May 7; and "Shrek the Musical" on Saturdays, June 11 to July 9.

Special concerts will be offered this summer. T.3, a New York-based vocal group, will perform on Wednesday, June 23, through Sunday, June 27. Together We Celebrate, A Concert Event! will be held from Tuesday, July 6, through Sunday, Aug. 8. Reduced seating will be in effect, and masks are required.
