Garden Spot High School has recognized the Students of the Month for January. They were honored for being hardworking.
At its February meeting, the Eastern Lancaster County (ELANCO) School District board recognized the January Students of the Month - Jazlyn Hoadley, Zach Delgado, Kendell Moats and Lejla Hamzic. Garden Spot High School principal Matthew Sanger presented the students to the board.
Jazlyn, a freshman, is the daughter of David and Pamela Hoadley of New Holland. She is currently taking honors courses and has been listed on the honor roll since middle school. Jazlyn is a member of the applied music program.
Zach, a sophomore, is the son of William and Sherri Delgado of East Earl. He has taken several honors courses over the years and has received honor roll status since seventh grade. Zach is a member of the marching band and the soccer, volleyball and track and field teams.
Kendell, a junior, is the daughter of Joseph and Sarah Moats of New Holland. Kendell is enrolled in honors courses and has received honor roll recognition since seventh grade. She is also involved in the FFA program.
Lejla, a senior, is the daughter of Edin Hamzic of New Holland. She has taken several honors courses over the years and has maintained distinguished honors since seventh grade. Lejla is a member of the marching band and the cheerleading squad.
