Gardening Hotline Opens

Penn State Extension Master Gardeners of Chester County have announced the opening of their 2022 gardener hotline.

The Master Gardeners are available to questions about growing vegetables, fruits, ornamentals, native plants, invasive species, turf grass, plant identification, pruning, trees and insect and disease problems. The volunteers will answer questions free of charge via email or phone.

The gardener hotline, which opened on April 4, will be staffed during the work week. Individuals may contact the Master Gardeners by emailing questions and photos to chestermg@psu.edu. To ask a question by phone, call the Penn State Extension Office at 610-696-3500 to leave a voicemail message on the Master Gardener extension. Callers should include their name, contact information and details of their issue.
