Middletown Area High School (MAHS) has honored seniors Cayla M. Garman and Dane A. Ebersole as the Students of the Month for November. They were selected by their teachers.
Cayla is the daughter of Bruce and Julie Garman. Cayla has been included on the distinguished honor roll throughout her entire high school career. She is involved in many activities, such as chorus, select choir, Link Crew, color guard, winter guard, this school year's fall play, and DCMEA County Chorus. Cayla was elected as a choir representative her senior year and is a member of Tri-M Music Honor Society. After high school, she plans to attend Penn State Harrisburg to study horticulture. Cayla has selected MAHS choral director Andrew Vensel as her MAHS Teacher of Influence.
Dane is the son of Dennis and Amy Ebersole. Dane is band president as well as class treasurer. He is also involved in school activities such as chorus, Future Business Leaders of America, Mini-THON, Link Crew, National Honor Society, and Tri-M Music Honor Society. Dane has led fifth- through eighth-graders at LCBC Harrisburg in growing their faith, and he assists in coaching a U10 soccer team at Olmsted. Dane was selected by his classmates to be on the homecoming court. Dane plans to attend Lebanon Valley College to study physical therapy. Dane selected health teacher Terri O'Neil as his MAHS Teacher of Influence.
