The Dauphin County Library System (DCLS) will offer "Introduction to Genealogy Resources" on Tuesday, Oct. 12, at 6 p.m. via Zoom. The library system's information services staff will speak about the databases, microfilm, and books available through the DCLS that can help people get started in uncovering their family's history. Attendees will also learn about free, vetted, online resources and receive tips for getting started.

Interested individuals may also explore the companion Hari Jones: Hidden Histories Collection. The library system partnered with the Dauphin County commissioners to create this curated, permanent collection of books and other materials that celebrates the life and work of historian Hari Jones.
