The Lancaster Science Factory, 454 New Holland Ave., Lancaster, has announced that enrollment for the 2019-20 Girls Code Club is now open.
The club consists of three cohorts which meet for a 90-minute facilitated session each month. Sessions are collaborative and interactive, and they introduce coding concepts or reinforce and challenge more experienced coders. Girls who attend at least six out of nine sessions will be invited to a special night out at the Science Factory with their families at the conclusion of the program.
Since its inception four years ago, more than 200 girls have graduated from the nine-month program, which introduced them to computer science and coding.
