The YMCA of York and York County is set to host its annual LIVESTRONG at the YMCA golf outing on Friday, Sept. 27, at the Hanover Country Club, 200 E. Water St., Abbottstown.
The outing will be in an individual golfer-based format. The event check-in will begin at 9:30 a.m. with a shotgun start at noon. Entrance fees for each individual golfer will include golf, the use of a cart and the range, lunch, an awards dinner, a golf gift package, and snacks and beverages. Tickets are also available for the Power package and the Golf Awards Dinner only.
Course contests will include closest-to-pin on each par 3; longest drive contests for men, women, and seniors; and optional prize contests. Hole-in-one prizes and door prizes will be awarded. Proceeds will support LIVESTRONG at the YMCA, a free 12-week program that supports cancer survivors in regaining their physical, emotional and spiritual strength.
