On Palm Sunday, April 14, at 11 a.m., children will lead the opening procession, waving palm branches to recall Jesus' triumphal entry into Jerusalem before His death. Maundy Thursday worship on April 18 will be at 7 p.m. in remembrance of Jesus instituting the Lord's Supper on the night before His death by observing Communion. The service will conclude as the altar is stripped.
Good Friday worship on April 19 will also be at 7 p.m. This will be a "service of darkness," as the church will be darkened to mark Jesus drawing nearer and nearer to His last breaths on the cross. The service will conclude with the "Strepitus," a loud sound that represents the closing of the tomb, with departure in silence.
Easter Sunday worship on April 21 will be at 11 a.m. in celebration of the Resurrection.
