Gretna Music 4 Kids will present three shows at the Mount Gretna Playhouse, 200 Pennsylvania Ave., Mount Gretna. Separate ticket prices have been set for adults and for youths. On June 22, the Ahn Trio's performance will teach children the basic elements of music through an interactive show that encourages various expressions of creativity. The event is for children age 6 and up.
On July 13, a sensory-friendly show created and performed by Paige Hernandez will tell the story of a young girl named Yeila. The participatory play is designed to teach children about the dance style of salsa-infused hip-hop. The program is geared toward children ages 4 to 8.
On Aug. 10, Akropolis Reed Quintet will perform. Children are encouraged to bring paper and crayons for a draw-what-you-hear activity. The program is for children age 6 and up.
