A Guided Bicycle Experience will be offered on Wednesday, Oct. 16, from 1 to 3 p.m. Participants should gather at Columbia Crossing River Trails Center, 41 Walnut St., Columbia.
The two-hour bicycle tour on the Northwest River Trail will be led by a local guide from Susquehanna Heritage. The ride will highlight important historical sites, some of the trail's popular features, glimpses of the Susquehanna River, and less well-known spots.
After the tour, attendees may continue to ride on the trail, or they may return to the starting point with the guide. Participants may bring their own bike or rent one from an on-site outfitter. A helmet is required.
