Habecker Mennonite Church, 451 Habecker Church Road, Lancaster, will host a Karen music benefit concert on Saturday, March 23, at 6 p.m. Various ensembles of youths and young adults will sing traditional Karen songs as well as a capella hymns in English and Karen.
A freewill offering will be received to support youths from the Habecker congregation who sing in the Mennonite Children's Choir (MCCL) of Lancaster. Seven of the church's nine MCCL singers are raising funds to go on tour with the MCCL Concert Choir and Chamber Choir this summer.
