Elizabethtown College students will host a night of haunted museum tours at the Winters Heritage House Museum, 47 E. High St., Elizabethtown, on Friday, Oct. 25, from 7 to 9 p.m. The tours will be geared for 10-year-olds through adults.
Visitors will be guided through several spooky historic skits within the 1760s log structures of the museum. Visitors should go to the museum's H.U. Coble house, a red brick Victorian located at 33 E. High St., to initiate their tour. The tours will take 30 to 45 minutes.
The students developed the haunted museum tours as part of the Elizabethtown College Student Directed Learning Communities program.
There is ample free parking in the lot behind the museum and at nearby Christ Lutheran Church. Admission is free, though donations will be appreciated. For more information, readers may call the museum at 717-367-4672 or visit http://www.ElizabethtownHistory.org.
