Lancaster Health Center (LHC) will keep its doors open to everyone in the community who needs help to stay healthy or regain health, particularly those who do not have a primary care provider (PCP).
LHC has implemented a COVID-19 emergency incident response plan that is intended to design to protect the health and safety of clients and staff members. The care teams have been trained to follow the new plan in addition to following standard precautions for infectious disease prevention, diagnosis, and treatment. The team members are prepared to evaluate a client who may have been exposed to the virus without putting other clients and medical personnel at risk.
LHC has temporarily closed its Bright Side and Reynolds Middle School locations. Clients are being seen at 625 S. Duke St., 304 N. Water St., and 802 New Holland Ave., Suite 200, Lancaster, on Mondays through Fridays from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Telephone appointments are also available each weekday beginning at 8 a.m. To schedule in-person or telephone appointments, readers may call 717-299-6371.
At its functioning locations, LHC will continue to follow the guidelines issued by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, screen clients and other visitors for cough and fever before they enter the building, update critical protocols as needed, and closely monitor the spread of COVID-19 in Lancaster. Clients and community members may visit http://www.lancasterhealthcenter.org for regularly updated information and modified schedules and services.
