Hershey Public Library, 701 Cocoa Ave., Hershey, will offer a children's program and a Local Author Festival in April. Registration is not required for these activities.
The Hershey Public Library's third Local Author Festival will be held on Saturday, April 25, from 9:30 a.m. to 5 pm. Authors from a variety of genres will share their experiences and books at the event. Both self-published and traditionally published fiction and nonfiction authors will be showcased.
"Arabiqa! Drums and Dances from the Arab World" will be presented by Karim Nagi on Sunday, April 26, at 2 p.m. With humor, acrobatics, and audience participation, Nagi will introduce attendees to Arab culture. The program is suitable for children in kindergarten through grade five, and everyone is welcome to attend.
