Hikers may participate in a 6-mile outing on Saturday, Feb. 12. Starting at Riverfront Park in Wrightsville and ending at the Marietta Rivertrail Pavilion, participants will walk an easy, paved surface that does not require hiking poles. Participants should meet at 9 a.m. at the Galleria Mall parking lot on the Red Robin side to carpool. Those planning to attend should contact hike leader Regina Haritos at 717-417-6191 (home) or 717-332-2221 (cell).
A hike and dinner event will take place on Sunday, Feb. 20. Starting promptly at 10:30 a.m., Kim Herbst will lead a 5- to 6-mile hike starting from JPJ and returning in time for a chili dinner at 1:30 p.m. Reservations are required by 9 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 17, by contacting Bernie Frick at 717-854-3437 or bernardfrick@alum.lehigh.edu. Once reservations are made, payment is required and nonrefundable.
The club will hold a 4.5-mile, out-and-back hike near Parkton, Md., on Sunday, Feb. 27. The hike, on the Torrey C. Brown Rail Trail, follows the Fourth Mine Branch of Little Falls Creek.
