The Writers' Roundtable will meet at 10 a.m. on Thursday, Sept. 5. The program will explore the topic of search engine optimization for writers and bloggers.
York County History Center will host its annual meeting and awards on Thursday, Sept. 12, at 5 p.m. The event is open to members only.
The Second Saturday program will begin at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 14. The program will feature Dr. Lawrence E. Keener-Farley as he illustrates the technological warfare of the Civil War.
The York County Civil War Roundtable will meet at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 18. Dr. Charles E. Fennell Jr. will discuss "The Battle of Hanover: Prelude to Gettysburg."
"Perspectives on York, 1969-2019" will be held at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 19, at Logos Academy, 250 W. King St., York. The program will offer a reflection into York County history that informs contemporary conversations. This month, past, present, and future housing will be examined.
ALLVETS will gather at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 25. The program will feature a veteran speaking and sharing stories.
