HLAA Chapter Slates Meeting

The Lancaster County Chapter of the Hearing Loss Association of America (HLAA) will meet on Tuesday, May 21, at 10 a.m. in the fellowship hall in the Village Center Building at Brethren Village Retirement Community, 3001 Lititz Pike, Lititz.

Mike Miles, HLAA-PA Eastern Chapter coordinator, will report on work being done by scientists to regrow inner ear cells to cure hearing loss and tinnitus. Miles will also offer tips on hearing in a noisy environment. The meeting will be captioned in real time, and a hearing loop will be provided. The programs of the Lancaster County Chapter of the HLAA are intended to help people who are hard of hearing cope with their hearing loss.
