The Humane Society of the Harrisburg Area, 7790 Grayson Road, Harrisburg, will hold a holiday open house and adopt-a-thon on Saturday, Dec. 7, from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. The event will include discounted adoption rates for dogs, cats, and other critters; a bake sale; and a walking taco bar.
