Central Penn College (CPC), 600 Valley Road, Summerdale, will host a performance by A Proud Monkey, a Dave Matthews tribute band, on Friday, Oct. 15, from 6 to 9 p.m., as part of the college's "Magical Moments" homecoming weekend. 2021 marks the college's 140th anniversary, and the Summerdale-based institution will celebrate with multiple activities throughout the weekend.
In addition to the concert, homecoming weekend will feature an opening reception to celebrate the college's 140th year and the Classes of 2020 and 2021, an open house for prospective students, the annual Fall Harvest Festival, an outdoor screening of "Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone" followed by a bonfire, and brunch with the college's president, Linda Fedrizzi-Williams. Registration is required for many of the events.
