Homeschoolers To Present Play

Elizabethtown Homeschool Drama Club (EHDC) will perform its fall play, "Lucky Hudson and the 12th Street Gang," on Friday, Nov. 19, at 7 p.m. and Saturday, Nov. 20, at 1 and 7 p.m. at Hope Community Church, 1806 Harrisburg Ave., Mount Joy. The Friday night performance will also be livestreamed at https://hopecommunitymtjoy.online.church/.

The play centers around 16-year-old Steve Jenkins, who loves to write crime stories about gangsters in 1920s America, and his favorite character, federal agent Lucky Hudson. Lucky takes Steve on an adventure to chase down criminals, and the pair's escapades lead to danger, suspense, and even prison. The show contains many elements from decades past, including not only the 1920s, but also the '40s, '50s, '60s, and '80s.
