Hospice Sets Support Programs

Hospice & Community Care and the Pathways Center for Grief & Loss have announced several programs.

Coping With the Loss of a Parent or Sibling, a drop-in group for adults, will be offered on Tuesday, Nov. 5, from 6:30 to 8 p.m. at the Pathways Center, 4075 Old Harrisburg Pike, Mount Joy. The free meeting will include a presentation and an informal time to talk with others. No registration is needed.

The Newly Bereaved Program, a three-week series, will be offered on Wednesdays, Nov. 6, 13, and 20, from 10 to 11:30 a.m. at the Pathways Center. The free series will provide an overview of common grief responses and is intended to help individuals to begin to identify coping tools. Space is limited, and registration is required. Interested individuals are asked to call the Pathways Center at 717-391-2413 or 800-924-7610 by Wednesday, Oct. 30, to speak with a bereavement counselor.
