The Hempfield Youth Association (HYA) has announced that it has canceled the winter 2020-21 season of boys' and girls' intramural basketball. The HYA noted that the regulations and guidelines in place for personal interaction, along with the nature of the game of basketball itself, during the COVID-19 pandemic will not allow the HYA to safely conduct the program.
The HYA looks forward to welcoming young players to participate in the winter 2021-22 season.
